A Letter From the Owner:
Dear Present and Future Customers and Friends,
My name is Charley Cobb and I’d like to share my background with you, and give you some insight on the foundation of this company. I attended Medford High School and The University of Oregon, in which I lettered in football. I worked for a small bank out of college before joining Transportation Media Incorporated (the Father company of Bench Craft Co.), whom I have been employed with since 1983.
I have been a resident of Oregon my entire life, and I’ve lived in the same house in Lake Oswego since 1991. I’ve been married to my wife, my High School girlfriend for over 36 years. We have two sons together, who both work for the company and I am a proud grandfather too.
I am an avid fan of the University of Oregon football team. I enjoy fly fishing, golfing and world travel. I consider myself an aggressive business owner and risk taker. I live off of the old Packer’s coach, Vince Lombardis’ adage: “If you make a mistake, do it at full speed”.
I am proud of Bench Craft Company, but we are still trying to better it everyday. I am surrounded with good people who are all striving for the betterment of this company.
Sincerely,
Charely Cobb
