A note to all present and future customers, friends, employees and colleagues,

My name is Charley Cobb and I want to thank you for taking the time to read about my background and the foundation of Bench Craft Company.

For my entire life I have called Oregon home. I attended Medford High School and The University of Oregon in Eugene. As a Duck, I lettered in Football and graduated with a degree in Economics.

Shortly after graduation, I married my high school sweetheart, Nancy. We have lived in the same house since 1991 and just celebrated our 40th anniversary.

I joined Transportation Media Incorporated (the parent company of Bench Craft Company, Fairway Media, and Skye Media) in 1983. At the time there was only a handful of employees. I immediately saw potential and set out to create a successful company built on the same values I carry in my personal life. Today Bench Craft Company employs around 400 people.

Nothing makes me more proud than being able to provide jobs to people who deserve it.

I consider myself an aggressive business owner and risk taker. I live off of the old adage from former Packer’s coach, Vince Lombardi:

“Individual commitment to a group effort. That is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work”.

Bench Craft Company has made tremendous strides and accomplished great things allowing us to serve golf courses and small business owners across North America. That success is due to my vision, but it would not have happened without hard work from a dedicated team.

Charley Cobb,

President and Owner of Bench Craft Company
